The Politics Department Opening Lecture on “Spiritual Experience and Symbolic Forms” by Dr. Wolfgang Leidhold will be held at the Happel Room in Caldwell Hall on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 3:00 pm. Please join us also for a pre-lecture reception at 2:30 in the same location.  

Philosopher, political scientist, and artist Wolfgang Leidhold has written on the concept of experience, religious experience, noetic turning, empirical metaphysics, and the individual and ensemble. He is also an expert on the thought of Francis Hutcheson. The reception and lecture follow the welcome and orientation session for politics graduate students at 2:00 pm. Happel room.
