A Choral Flourish for Family Weekend
Please join us for a one hour concert featuring the CUA Women's Chorus, the University Singers, and the Chamber Choir, performing joyous works to bid godspeed and safe travels to our visiting families.  The Chamber Choir will perform Finzi's My Spirit Sang All Day, Bach's Nach dir, Herr, verlanget mich from Cantata 150, several selections from the Byzantine Vespers Liturgy, and Creston's hauntingly beautiful Lillium Regis.  The Women's Chorus will present a performance of a medieval work from the Montpelier Codex, as well as music from Mendelssohn's oratorio, Elijah.  The University Singers will also feature Mendelssohn in a performance of Da nobis pacem, Domine.  Works by Eric Whitacre and Ralph Vaughan Williams will also be performed.

Free and open to the public
