Proving Their Mettle!
In the wilds of California's snowy mountains, six characters from different worlds are thrown together and face a common danger. How they respond reveals their true natures. Having experienced rejection and betrayal, this isolated band of travelers form
friendships which provide love and acceptance. This is one of the classic tales that first brought national acclaim for author Bret Harte. It has been the basis of at least five films and one play. Andrew Earle Simpson’s contemporary classical score draws
on American folk and country music as well as church and parlor songs.
Parental Advisory: There are adult themes and language in the show.
