The Center for Cultural Engagement is proud to host Dr. Kamau Bobb and Dr. Marcia Chatelain as part of the 2016-17 Intercultural Speaker Series. 

In this presentation Dr. Bobb & Dr. Chatelain discuss how they use their research and training to inspire others to address a broad range of social justice issues, especially inequality in STEM Fields & education more broadly.  

 

Dr. Bobb is a Program Officer at the National Science Foundation, and Dr. Chatelain is an Associate Professor of History at Georgetown University.

Each year the Center for Cultural Engagement invites distinguished guests to CUA to lecture on various topics related to race, ethnicity, and building intercultural capacity.

These presentations relate to one of the Center's three pillars; Sense of Self, Sense of Place & Sense of Responsibility.
