Give and Go Donation Drive Success!

The Catholic University of America: Donation Success!

Facilities Administration and Services, Residence Life and Campus Ministries partnered to organize this year’s Give and Go Drive. The donation drive took place for two weekends in May when move out occurs for students. The mission was clear; donate as much as possible. Collectively the university donated 7,084 pounds of food, clothing, school supplies and other odds and ends including electronics and office equipment. The university partnered with: Community Recycles, Community Forklift, Martha’s Table, the Capital Area Food Bank and The Washington Retreat House.  A BIG thanks to our community partners, all of the university staff that worked hard to make this possible and to all the students that donated responsibly.
