University Adds Compostable Container

CUA takes step toward phasing out Styrofoam containers from the Pryz.

CUA has a new container on campus. This Monday, November 3, Aramark, CUA’s food service vendor, has introduced a BPI certified compostable to-go container at the Edward J, Pryzbyla University Center. The containers are available in the food court on the second floor. By the end of the semester, the compostable containers will be available in the student restaurant.

The compostable containers will allow CUA to phase out Styrofoam on campus and decrease the amount of material we send to the landfill.
